Evander Holyfield was born October 19, 1962, in Atlanta, GA he’s the son of Annie Holyfield, Married to Paulette Bowens but divorced in 1991, Children of Evander Jr., Ashley, Ebonne and Ewin. Evander Holyfield is a Heavyweight boxing champion of the world. He made history in 1993 by accomplishing a rare feat which he won back a champion shop belt from the man who had beat him for the title in 1992.
He was the youngest out of eight children when he sighs autograph for this famous he add a citation from the Bible verse, because he support this hometown churches and other place. In 1971 he began a Boxer he won a bronze medal as light heavyweight in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He turned professional on November 1984 he won World Boxing Association Cruiserweight title in 1988. 1989 he moved up to heavyweight division and became the undisputed heavyweight champion of 1990 till 1992. After that he retired because he lost to Riddick Bowe in 1992. Then he became WBA/IBF heavyweight champion in 1993. Holyfield began boxing at age 12 and won the Boys Club boxing tournament. By age 15, Holyfield became the Southeastern Regional Champion, winning this tournament and the Best Boxer Award. Holyfield's boxing record stands as 53 total fights, 42 wins, 27 wins by KO, 9 losses and 2 draws. On February 28, 2007, Holyfield was anonymously linked to Applied Pharmacy Services, a pharmacy in Alabama that is currently under investigation for supplying athletes with illegal steroids and human growth hormone.
Evander Holyfield was one of the best boxers of his time. He is worthy of recognition for many reason. Evander started boxing when he was 12, and by 20 was already a world renowned boxer. At just 20 he was already representing the USA in fights around the world like: he Pan American Games in Caracas Venezuela in 1983, he won a silver medal there. The very next year he was the national golden gloves champ, which is a big deal in armature boxing. When Evander turned pro he easily cruised up the ranks of professional boxing, easily blowing through light weight, cruiser weight and then going to heavy weight. Evander easily beat the raining champ and took the title of heavy weight champ. His story has thought me that even under dogs and people who aren’t expected much of can accomplish great things if they try hard enough. His legacy will continue as a source of inspiration to people every where.
