Jewish LGBT group celebrates Passover with inclusive Seder night

The Jewish Gay and Lesbian Group celebrated Passover with a Seder night dinner in north London on Tuesday night.

The group usually celebrates the traditional meal but this year, members’ parents were invited.

Seder night is one of the most important occasions on the Jewish calendar and marks the beginning of the Passover celebrations.

The event remembers the exodus of Jews from Egypt.

Organisers said that Tuesday evening’s celebration also marked the exodus from the closet that all LGBT people need to make at some point in their lives.
